This app has a clean and straightforward look, so you don’t need to be a tech whiz to use it. Even if you're not super experienced with computers, you can still make the most of its features.

How It Works

The main window of Free Decision Maker starts off pretty empty, but don't worry! You can easily fill it in by clicking the ‘Add’ buttons. This lets you input your criteria and options, which will help the app give you an estimate.

Setting Your Criteria

First up, you'll need to enter your criteria. You can add just one or several, depending on what decision you're facing. For each criterion, there’s space for a description and a way to choose how important it is—ranging from ‘Low’ to ‘High’.

Adding Your Choices

Next, input the choices that have you stuck. The app will create a grading scale for each criterion where you can set its value using a handy slider. You’ll assign values from -5 (not great) to +5 (awesome).

The Final Calculation

Once you've set everything up, just click on the dice icon in the toolbar. Free Decision Maker will do its magic and calculate the total score for each option. It’ll show which choice comes out on top as the best pick!

Your Decision Still Matters!

The cool part? While the calculations are totally objective, how you score each criterion is all up to you! So at the end of the day, it's still your decision based on your values. Plus, if you want to revisit your choices later, you can save your work in XML format right on your computer.
