FontList is a handy little app for Windows that helps you create a list of all the fonts installed on your computer. You can even export this list to an HTML file, which is pretty cool!
The user interface isn’t anything fancy, but that's actually a good thing! It’s clean and straightforward. Even if you’re new to this stuff, you’ll be able to figure it out in no time.
One awesome feature of FontList is that you can include different types of fonts like symbol, non-English, and raster fonts in your list. You can also choose where to save it and what filename to use. By default, it exports everything into an HTML file format.
You can customize each font by making it bold or italic. Plus, if you want a closer look at a specific font, you can zoom in on it! It even has a built-in character map so you can see all the characters available in each font. The best part? It shows the total number of fonts detected on your system!
While testing FontList, we noticed how quickly it does its job without any errors popping up. Since it's such a small tool, it doesn’t use up much of your computer’s resources either. This means your other programs will run just fine while using FontList.
However, there are some things that FontList doesn’t do. You can't search for specific fonts or hide/delete them from the list. Also, there's no option to write custom text or organize fonts into groups.
Overall, FontList is a simple software solution for checking out all the fonts on your computer and exporting them to HTML format. If you're interested in downloading this nifty app, check out this link.
