A Few Drawbacks

But here’s the catch: you need to gather all the fonts in one folder for them to show up in the app. There’s no built-in search feature or automatic detection for TTF files. It would be way easier if you could search for fonts online directly from the app.

Managing Installed Fonts

If you're trying to find installed fonts to uninstall them later on, good luck! There’s no search engine for that either, which can be pretty annoying when your list gets long. Luckily, there are options to rename your fonts so they’re easier to identify or even print out the character map if you want it on paper.

The Bottom Line

All things considered, Font Wrangler has room for improvement compared to other font management tools out there. The design is user-friendly and makes installing or removing fonts easy peasy, but some important features—like searching for both installed and online fonts—are missing.
