If you’ve got animated characters that you love, you know how tricky it can be to get their lips to sync with what they’re saying. This software lets you import audio files and create those perfect lip movements for your projects.

The best part? You don’t even need to install Flash LipSync on your computer! It runs smoothly without messing with your system registries, so your PC stays stable. Plus, you can carry it around on a USB flash drive, making it super convenient if you want to work on the go!

User-Friendly Interface

When you launch Flash LipSync, you'll see a simple main window. It has several panels where you can arrange frames in order, set timing, choose frames, and preview everything you've created. The design isn’t flashy but is straightforward enough for anyone to pick up quickly.

Importing Your Audio Files

Before diving into lip motion setup, you'll need to import an audio file—preferably a voice recording. You can only use WAV and MP3 formats here. Just keep in mind that drag and drop isn’t available; you'll have to use the built-in browse dialog instead. If you're feeling stuck with all the features, don’t worry! There are some examples included that you can load for guidance.

Mouth Shapes and Customization

This app comes with its own collection of mouth shapes representing different phonemes so you can mix them together to mimic words accurately. But if you're feeling creative, you can easily swap these out for your own images by just opening a folder!

Getting Everything in Sync

You’ll need to set the total number of frames based on how long your audio file is—though it doesn’t show the length directly. In the sequencer area, that's where all frames go in order. You can even set delays between them in seconds! Once everything's ready, export your project as either FLS or AS autoscript.

A Great Tool for Animators

Overall, we think Flash LipSync is a great tool for syncing lip movement with custom voice files. Just keep in mind that getting everything aligned might take some time since each frame needs manual adjustments. But once you get the hang of it, it's a fun way to bring your characters to life!
