Flare is a super cool web browser designed just for Mac users. It’s small, speedy, and takes full advantage of awesome Mac OS X features like Multi-Touch and Core Animation. This means you get a really simple and beautiful browsing experience that makes surfing the web enjoyable.
One of the neatest things about Flare is the way it handles tabs. Just mouse over any tab, and you'll see a preview of what's on that page. If you want to see all your open pages at once, hit the Tab Expose button! It gives you a quick view, so you can easily jump back to what you were doing.
With Flare, managing your bookmarks is also a breeze. You can browse through your bookmarks using iconic images or CoverFlow style views. And guess what? They’re planning to add a 3D fullscreen mode soon! That’ll make browsing even more fun.
If you're using a MacBook Air or Pro, you're in for a treat! Flare is working on integrating Multi-Touch features just for you. You can zoom in or out on a web page by pinching it with your fingers. Want to switch tabs? Just swipe three fingers across the trackpad!
You can even rotate your fingers to reset zoom levels or pinch to resize toolbar buttons and visual bookmarks. It’s all about making your browsing experience as smooth as possible!
NOTE: Flare Browser is licensed under the BSD License and right now it’s still in alpha status. This means that while it's functional, it doesn’t have all the features that are planned for the final release yet.
