First English

First English is a super user-friendly app that helps you teach kids common English words. It's perfect for pre-schoolers and primary school students. The app comes with lots of images and voice-overs, making it great for little ones who can't read yet.

Fun Word Categories

With First English, you can explore tons of word categories to practice. Think about colors, pets, fruits, jobs, transport, numbers, days of the week, or classroom objects. You can also teach them words related to clothing items, sports, body parts, weather, and even telling time!

British and American Vocabulary

The app supports both British and American vocabularies! Just pick which one you want right from the first screen when you start up. Once you've selected a topic from the list, you'll see an activities menu pop up next to the main window. This menu lets you switch topics, shuffle images around, or choose different quizzes.

Engaging Quizzes and Games

First English has a variety of quizzes plus an interactive exercise designed for two students! One quiz asks players to find specific objects from their chosen topic. There's also a fun Puzzle game where pictures in each category are hidden behind puzzle pieces. Players have to guess what they are by looking at bits of the images.

Memory Games for Learning

This app includes two memory games where kids flip cards on the screen to find matches. The Snap game is another fun option that requires two students and involves quickly identifying a sequence of images and names using designated keys.

Bilingual Language Modules

First English offers two language modules: British and American English. While these languages are quite similar, some words differ or sound different! This cool feature stands out in the sentences module where it mixes words from your chosen categories into short phrases.
