Find Desktop offers some neat functions like mail indexing and enhanced scanning tools. It even lets you add notes directly on your documents without messing with the original file. Plus, it supports lots of common file types like PDF and MS Word.
How It Works
The wizard at the start helps you pick which folders to index on your computer or Intranet. You can always change this later! It handles up to 7 GB of data and works with all kinds of scanners.
Easily Scan Your Documents
You can set page sizes, resolutions, and scan options easily. And if you're using a multi-page TIF file viewer, browsing through your images is a breeze thanks to the thumbnail menu.
Add Annotations and More!
You can add virtual annotations without changing the original files! This feature lets you search through those notes too—how cool is that? Plus, there’s built-in OCR that grabs text from scanned images automatically!
Search Smartly
If you're looking for something specific, use logical operators to refine your search. For example: "(car during race) OR (racing car)." This way you'll get exactly what you're after.
Create Virtual Folders for Easy Access
The Print List feature allows you to create virtual folders based on your searches. You can also index zip files and email databases so everything is organized in one place!
