Fetch! is a super easy-to-use software that helps you quickly find the latest files you've worked on. You can access them just by double-clicking on the entry in the main window. This means no more digging through folders to find what you need!
The installation process is a breeze—nothing complicated here! Once it's set up, you can jump right into using it, no matter how experienced you are with similar tools.
The interface is clean and simple, blending nicely with your Windows background or showing a cool transparent Aero look if you're on Windows 7. Plus, Fetch! can run minimized in the corner of your screen, which keeps your workspace tidy without crowding the system tray.
The main window of Fetch! lists all your recently opened or created files sorted into categories based on their types. You've got categories like 'Documents', 'Plain Text', 'Excel', 'Imagery', 'Video', 'Audio', 'Compressed', 'PowerPoint', '3D Modeling', 'Db Dev', and 'Oracle'. Just click on any header to see all related items—it’s that simple!
You won't be able to view every file type in one go, but double-clicking an entry opens it up in its default software. If you want to manage files further, right-click for options like accessing the folder where the file is stored, removing it from Fetch!, or ignoring it in future searches.
You can customize what types of files Fetch! tracks and how many entries show up at once from the ‘Setup’ section. Want to exclude certain items? No problem! You can also select specific local drives and even add custom folder paths.
In short, Fetch! is a handy program that lets you quickly access files you've worked with before—no more searching all over your computer!
