FET is a free and open-source timetabling app that schools, high schools, and even some universities can use. It's super handy for organizing schedules without any cost!
This software runs on a really quick and effective timetabling algorithm. Plus, it’s licensed under the GNU/GPL, which means you can use it freely! Isn’t that awesome?
Now, there are some limits to what the algorithm can handle. But don't worry! These limits can be increased if needed with a custom version (which might need a bit more memory). Here’s what you should know:
The cool thing about FET? It’s cross-platform! This means you can run it on just about any system that supports the Qt framework. So whether you're using macOS, GNU/Linux, or Windows, you’re good to go!
N.B.: If you're on macOS (Intel), the FET binary was contributed by Darren McDonald. If you run into any issues with it, make sure to check out the dedicated FET forum thread.
