EyeSoft is a handy network IP surveillance software that lets you keep an eye on multiple places using webcams. It works with all kinds of audio and video sources—think USB webcams, video capture cards, IP cameras, and even local files. You can connect to another EyeSoft tool if you need to monitor things remotely!

Features of EyeSoft

The user interface is pretty clean and organized, but I won’t sugarcoat it—it’s not the easiest thing to figure out right away. You might find yourself checking the help manual just to get a handle on how everything works. But don’t worry! There are also tooltips available that give you quick descriptions of the features.

Monitor Up to 64 Cameras

You can keep track of up to 64 cameras at once! Plus, you get real-time previews of audio and video streams. If you have multiple monitors, you can detach a window from the main panel and move it around—super helpful for multitasking.

Control Your Surveillance

With EyeSoft, you can reset alarm indicators, run specific channels, or control PTZ cameras (that means pan-tilt-zoom!). You can start or stop recordings manually and even use a built-in scheduler for automated tasks. The software also lets you play or stop audio previews for one or all channels at any time.

The program gives you options to select your capture card or webcam connection easily. You can choose your video settings like standard, resolution, frame rate—you name it!

Motion Detection Features

If you're worried about movement in certain areas, EyeSoft's motion detection feature has got your back! You can create as many detectors as needed for each channel with customizable sensitivity and masked areas.

Recording Made Easy

You can record streams and search through channels quickly. Access recorded videos within a 24-hour timeline and manage your media files efficiently by indexing them. Plus, if you've got settings that work well for you, export them so they’re ready for future use!

Remote Viewing Capabilities

You even have the option to stream media over TCP/IP! Connect remotely with IE, set up HTTP servers for remote viewing, check logs for activity—there’s a lot packed in here!

No doubt about it: EyeSoft offers tons of features to strengthen your surveillance system. Just remember though—the layout isn’t super intuitive at first glance. Be prepared to invest some time learning the ropes!
