Eyeballs is a super fun app that gives you a quirky set of eyeballs right in your menu bar. These little guys watch your cursor as you work, and they even blink every now and then!
Getting started with Eyeballs is a breeze! After you download the .dmg file, just click on the Eyeballs icon to open it. No need for any complicated installation—though it’s smart to drag it over to your Mac OS X Applications folder for easy access later.
When you first launch it, Eyeballs will ask if you'd like to check online for any updates. It’s simple but comes with some really cool features. You can choose from different pairs of eyes or even create your own custom designs and save them as presets! Whether you want them looking gawking, lecherous, intelligent, or gullible, there are plenty of options to express yourself.
You have tons of settings at your fingertips! You can control where the eyes sit on your screen—either in the Mac OS X system tray or down by the Dock. Plus, you can decide how fast they blink or shake, pick colors for their eyes and pupils, and even choose how many eyeballs you'd like to see!
A neat feature is the CPU usage bar in its preferences menu. The “quiver” effect can use up some resources, so it's handy to keep an eye on it for better performance. You can also set up an automatic “Hibernate” function that helps manage CPU load by pausing the eyeball antics when needed.
If you're ever feeling bored or just want something silly to brighten up your screen, Eyeballs is perfect! It's a great way to add some personality to your workspace while having a good laugh.
If you're ready for some fun, download Eyeballs now!
