Extract here with File-roller is just a simple servicemenu for KDE to "extract here" using file-roller. I was having trouble with certain compressed formats (like .cpio) and got tired of using Konsole everytime. This obviously depends on file-roller being installed and I'm using this with konqueror in Mint 5 CE which is KDE3 (not sure if it works with KDE4 or not) Put File-roller_extract.desktop in HOME/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus and make sure that isn't executable -- That's it!
