eXtra Buttons is a cool little Windows app that helps you add some super handy buttons right into your window’s title bar or system menu. You can have buttons like Always on Top, Minimize, Transparency, Bookmark, Send to Tray, and so many more!

Easy to Use

This tool quietly hangs out in the system tray without bothering you while you work. When you need it, just call it up and you'll find a bunch of settings to play around with. By default, eXtra Buttons adds three small buttons in the panel’s caption that let you keep your current window on top of others, minimize it to the tray, or create bookmarks for your favorite apps.

If you're worried about cluttering up your title bar with too many buttons, don’t sweat it! eXtra Buttons seamlessly blends the buttons into your desktop theme using native Windows functions. They won’t look out of place at all.

Tweak It Your Way

This app gives you lots of options to customize how things look and work. You can pick which buttons show up in the system menu—like Always on Top, Send to Tray, Bookmarks, and more! You even get to choose colors for the buttons and preview how they’ll look before making any changes.

User-Friendly Features

You can also add context menu entries by right-clicking on the window caption. This lets you access a list of user-defined options like Send to Tray or Transparency easily. Plus, if there are certain utilities you don’t want included, you can build a list just for those!

Hotkeys & More

The app supports several parameters designed specifically for changing button settings too. For example, you can set hotkeys for different actions and choose a default transparency level. Want it to start up with Windows? No problem! You can also display tips in the system tray and button hints.
