How to Use Exam Browser

To get started with Exam Browser, you first need to set up a password. After that, just hit the "RUN" button. Once you do this, your browser will be locked down—you won't be able to access new websites. Instead, you'll see an error message like when there’s no Internet connection or if you're using site blocking tools.

Ending Your Test

When you're done with the exam, all you have to do is press the "STOP" button and enter your password again. It's super simple!

No Sneaky Moves Allowed!

One important thing to know is that while Exam Browser is running, it’s pretty much impossible to get around it. Common tricks like trying to close it through Task Manager won’t work—if you try that, Task Manager will shut down almost instantly.

Your Browsing Experience During Tests

You also can’t type in any new addresses in your browser while Exam Browser is active. But here’s a little silver lining: if you had tabs open before starting the app, you can still click around in those! Just keep in mind that once you close them, there’s no going back.
