ESCV is a neat tool that helps you create questionnaires packed with multiple-choice questions. If you're planning to whip up a test, this software can help you think through how to structure it. Plus, once you're done, you can generate the final version and even print it out! But before that, don’t forget to preview your questionnaire to make sure everything's just right.

Easy-to-Use Layout

The layout of ESCV is super simple and user-friendly. You can easily manage your question databases and all the tests you've created. It also provides handy features to generate statistics and charts so you can assess your questionnaires and calculate average scores for your students.

Start with Predefined Tests

If you're new to ESCV, you'll be happy to know it comes with a predefined test that shows you how everything works. But if you'd like to get creative, you can make new questions and tests on different topics. All the questions are organized by topic and difficulty level too!

LaTeX Knowledge Required

Just a heads-up: since ESCV uses LaTeX, you'll need a LaTeX editor like MikTeX installed. You won’t be able to create or edit any questions without knowing some LaTeX basics or having a compatible editor handy.

Creating Your Questionnaire

Once you've got your database of questions set up, it's time to generate your questionnaire! Just select the questions you want (there’s an easy option in the right-click menu), and add them into your new quiz.

Advanced Selection Tools

To make life easier, ESCV includes advanced selection tools that let you quickly add active questions from an entire subtree. It even has built-in search options for quick access!

Preview Before Printing

If you've chosen at least two questions for your test, you're all set to generate the questionnaire! Don’t forget to preview it first—this way, you can check that everything looks good before saving the test data. When you're ready, just hit “Print” for a physical copy! You can also collect answers using a video camera or scanner.

ESCV makes creating multiple-choice tests pretty straightforward once you get the hang of things. While its simple interface sounds great in theory, mastering its workflow might take some time. Remember: since questions are written in LaTeX, having that editor is key for editing anything—which could be tricky for some users!
