enEditor

enEditor is a lightweight application that lets you open and edit all kinds of files like plain text, ALL, PAS, SQL, XML, and Ruby. It's super user-friendly with basic options that even beginners can handle without any stress.

Simple Interface

If you check out the interface, you'll see it hasn’t had any updates for a while. But don’t worry! It has a classic look with a simple layout that makes it easy to navigate around.

Multiple Tabs for Easy Access

You can open multiple files at once thanks to the tab support. This means you can easily switch between them whenever you need to. Plus, you get all the basic editing tools like cut, copy, paste, delete, select all text, and even undo or redo your last actions!

Search and Replace Made Easy

There's also a handy search and replace function that has some cool features like case sensitivity and whole word only options. You can even search within selected text or use regular expressions if you know how.

Customize Your Experience

You can hide the status bar if you want more space on your screen. And when it comes to fonts? You can customize everything from type and style to size and color!

If you’re looking to format text or run scripts, there are options for those too! Just keep in mind that some of these features might not work perfectly since the software hasn’t been updated in a while.

No Registry Changes Needed

This app doesn’t mess with system registry settings but does update an .xml file to remember your settings when you close it. Sometimes administrative privileges might be needed to avoid startup hiccups.

Lightweight Performance

The good news is that during our testing, CPU and RAM usage were minimal. So no worries about slowing down your computer! Just keep in mind that since enEditor hasn’t been updated in ages, some features may not work well on newer versions of Windows.
