Description
Enciphering
Enciphering is a cool encryption software that helps you scramble lines of text to keep them safe from prying eyes.
Why Use Enciphering?
This app can be a bit tricky to figure out, mostly because the interface isn’t super user-friendly due to some translation issues. So, don’t be surprised if you find yourself going through a bit of 'trial and error' before getting the hang of it!
How It Works
Enciphering has two main panels: 'The Text' and 'Code'. In the 'Text' panel, you can type or paste the phrases or words you want to encode. If you'd rather upload something, just hit the 'To Open' button and choose a TXT file. Just remember, your text needs to be at least 30 characters long; otherwise, it won't let you encypher it.
Setting Up Your Code
In the 'Code' panel, you’ll enter your encryption key. This also needs to be at least 30 characters long! You can mix upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Like with your text, if you have a TXT file ready, you can upload that too!
Cipherring Your Text
Once you've got everything ready, hit the 'To Cipher' button. This will turn your plain text into a string of numbers that only someone with your original 'Code' can decode. It's best to use a longer code for stronger protection. Don’t forget—you can save this encoded info by clicking on the 'To Keep' button to store it as a TXT file.
Re-Encrypting for Extra Security
You can even re-encrypt already scrambled text multiple times using either the same or a different code for added security! If you're looking to decrypt something later on that was encoded with Enciphering, just enter its content along with the used code and press the ‘To Decode’ button.
A Useful Tool
Overall, Enciphering is an interesting tool that helps you protect large amounts of text using your own unique code—kind of like having your own password for encryption and decryption! However, it could really benefit from better translation in its interface and help files since that might scare off some users.

Enciphering is a powerful encryption tool, but the poorly translated interface may deter users. Requires a 30-character 'Code' for encoding.
