What is eAAC+ Encoder FOR LINUX?
eAAC+ Encoder is an Amarok script that adds transcoding to eAAC+ (enhanced AAC plus) support for Amarok only when transferring files to a device. It doesn't touch your original files!
This script was written thinking mainly on mobile phones with multimedia reproduction abilities that support the enhanced AAC plus format (from what I know, mainly Nokia and Sony Ericsson).
To get files converted, you have to ask amarok to convert 'if possible' and not only 'if needed'.
It supports now MP3 and OGG as input file formats.
