The setup is super quick and doesn’t need any special skills. Once it’s installed, e2eSoft Pictures ScreenSaver gets copied right to your Windows directory. After that, you can open the Windows screensaver settings panel to check out your folder's contents and make any changes.

By default, the app uses the “Pictures” directory for its images, but you can switch it up and choose any folder you like. The developer hasn’t listed all the file types supported, but we found that it works well with BMP, PNG, and JPEG files. The best part? If there are files in your folder that aren’t supported, they’re simply ignored so no annoying error messages pop up.

You have plenty of options when it comes to customizing your screensaver! You can change how long each photo stays on screen during the slideshow. Want to keep the original aspect ratio of each image? You can do that too! You can even include subfolders if you want to view more pictures from them.

You also get to pick your favorite transition effect! Choose from cool options like 3D, blend, shift, wipe, or even use them all together!
Smooth Performance on Windows 10
In our tests on Windows 10, everything ran smoothly even though this app hasn't had updates in a while. It didn’t slow down our computer at all! The only downside is that it could use more transition effects to choose from.
