Drives Monitor is a super handy widget for Windows that gives you quick info about your hard drives. It shows the hard drive status and lets you keep an eye on disk activity without needing to install extra software.

Easy-to-Read Hard Drive Info

This gadget provides details for each connected physical or logical hard disk. You can see total, used, and free disk space, both in GB and percentages, along with the type of file system it uses (like NTFS or FAT). If you click on a drive letter, a flyout window pops up with detailed information like the physical drive model, capacity, type, number of partitions, cylinders, sectors, and more!

Visualize Your Disk Activity

You can easily visualize your disk activity in percentages and monitor real-time transfer rates using built-in graphs. It even displays read and write speeds in bytes per second along with total read and written data for the current session. How cool is that?

Monitor Removable Drives Too

The best part? This gadget keeps track of any removable drives you connect to your computer. It even has an 'Eject' button so you can safely release any USB device when you're done.

Know When Space is Low

If your free space gets really low, you'll see the disk space usage bar turn red. This way, you'll know to take action before running into problems.

Customize Your Experience

You can also customize what drives are monitored, change how often it refreshes the data, and pick what info you want to display. For instance, if you'd rather not see graphics or read/write counters—you got it! The interface is fully customizable too; tweak the graph style, size of the gadget, opacity, and colors to fit right in with your desktop theme.
