DotNetRemotingPlusLib is pretty cool because it lets you create bidirectional network applications, which is way more than what standard .Net Remoting offers. This means you can send data back and forth easily between your server and clients!
This version also brings in some new components: HttpClient, RawClient, RawServer, HttpProxyServer, and HttpProxyClient. In HTTP mode, your server can act as a gateway/proxy server. This means that calls not meant for the DNRPlus server will be sent to another HTTP server (like IIS). So you could run a website alongside bidirectional communication with DNRPlus clients—how neat is that? Just make sure your network supports HTTP 1.1 to keep things running smoothly!
