Downloading videos from some of the world's most popular video streaming platforms is not particularly difficult, as all one needs is a competent specialized download app.

DL-YOUTUBE PRO is one such application. It allows you to download entire YouTube videos and playlists, as well as extract audio and subtitles in full HD formats and a wide range of resolutions.

DL-YOUTUBE PRO allows you to download videos and audio from other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Rumble, and Odysee. What else? Well, the app also features a very simple system monitor that displays the CPU and RAM usage, as well as the Internet Speed (in Bits/second).

As a Linux user (unsurprisingly), I'm mostly inclined to use free and open-source apps. That's why I can totally understand why users might feel reluctant to use this app, as it's neither.

DL-YOUTUBE PRO is a closed-source paid app. You're provided with a 3-day trial period that allows you to test out all of the app's features. Once the trial period ends, the app limits downloads of both YouTube videos and playlists to SD formats (lower quality).

During my tests, I found the app to be pretty good. The download times are decent, the GUI is also decent, and the whole experience is quite user-friendly.

I also enjoyed the fact that the app allows you to perform searches within the app, so you don't have to deal with copy-pasting links from your browser to the app.

Overall, DL-YOUTUBE PRO is a good app, but it's not amazing. It works exactly as intended, but again, the fact that it's not free and open-source could be a bit of a letdown for some users.
