DIY Layout Creator

DIY Layout Creator is a super easy program that lets you create and design board layouts for things like PCB, Perfboard, or Stripboard. It’s packed with essential tools and doesn’t need any tricky settings, so it's perfect for those who are just starting out.

Simple Interface

The layout of the software is straightforward. You’ll see one main window where you can kick off a new project. Just enter some basic details like the type of layout, size, project name, and credits.

Easy Tool Selection

You can pick a tool from the toolbox to start using it. Then just click anywhere on your layout to add stuff like text, cut tracks, jumpers, capacitors, diodes, LEDs, electrolytes, transistors, switches, wires, audio jacks or tube sockets—the choices are pretty wide!

Explorer Pane Feature

A cool feature of DIY Layout Creator is the Explorer pane. This pane shows all the tool types you've used in your project. Just click an item there and it will highlight it in your layout—super handy!

Saving and Exporting Your Work

You can save your project file for later changes or print it out. Plus, if you want to share it online or keep a copy for yourself in image format (like GIF, JPG or BMP), you can do that too! There's even an option to export your bill of materials to a plain text document (TXT format). You can undo any mistakes you make as well as edit layout properties and check connections between points on the board.

Smooth Performance

This tool uses only a little bit of CPU and RAM. So no worries about slowing down your computer! The app responds quickly and works smoothly without any issues during our tests—no crashes or error messages at all. Even though it hasn't been updated in a while, DIY Layout Creator still offers a simple way to create board layouts without having to deal with complex settings.
