Description

diviz

diviz is a super handy application that researchers can use to create, design, and export algorithmic MCDA (Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis) workflows or methods. It’s designed to make your life easier when you’re dealing with complex decision-making processes.

Create Your Workflows Easily

This software comes packed with various tools, like aggregation operators and analysis tools. It's all about helping you find the best solutions! You can even launch files directly from the app.

User-Friendly Interface

The cool thing about diviz is that it has a user-friendly interface. To get started, all you need is to have Java. Once you're set up, you can create workflows in no time! Plus, it supports multiple tabs, so you can have several workflows open at once and switch between them easily.

Drag-and-Drop Features

You’ll love how easy it is to add programs to your workflow. Just drag and drop them into place! You can rearrange them however you want or group them together to manage everything smoothly.

Customization Galore

The program properties are customizable too! You can tweak things like timeout settings, transformation types (like divide by max), node shapes, chart titles, and more. Once you've made your changes, just hit execute!

Add Annotations and Export Options

You also have the option to add annotations to your workflows. Need to hide the grid or change arrow styles? No problem! You can save your workflows as PNG images or export them in .diviz format while choosing what input files to include or exclude.

User Preferences and Performance

The general preferences let you verify link validity, automatically open output files, and even switch UI languages if needed. Oh, and there are keyboard shortcuts for quick access!

Final Thoughts on diviz

In summary, diviz supports a wide range of programs for designing algorithmic MCDA workflows or methods with awesome customization options. During our tests, we noticed that while RAM usage was significant, CPU consumption stayed pretty low.
