Disk LED

Disk LED is a super simple app that helps you keep an eye on your drives right from your status bar. It shows the current status of all your drives with easy-to-read indicators. Whether you have internal or external drives, this app has got you covered with plenty of designs to choose from!

How It Works

The first time you open Disk LED, it scans for all the disks connected to your computer. You’ll see an icon for each drive in your status bar, and these icons change color based on the drive's status. Need to stop or start monitoring a specific device? Just check its name in the Disk LED list.

Customizing Your Experience

If you want to make Disk LED fit your needs even better, head over to the Preferences window. Here, you can tweak how often it checks for updates—choose between refreshing every 0.1 seconds to 0.5 seconds or set up the SMART monitor to check every 5 to 30 minutes.

Detailed Monitoring Options

Disk LED lets you see what's happening with each device individually or gives you a summary for all disks at once. You can even separate optical and removable disks if that's helpful! Plus, there's an option to add some space between those icons for easier viewing.

Create Your Own Style

You can personalize Disk LED by using your own set of menu bar icons! But if you're not feeling creative, don’t worry—there’s a wide range of built-in designs too! Choose from flat colors, glossy looks, and fun shapes like stars and hearts.
