DimSaver

DimSaver is not your typical screensaver. Instead of showing off some pretty images when your computer's idle, this tool dims the light on your screen. This is super handy if you want to keep an eye on what's happening without straining your eyes. You can find all sorts of uses for this app, depending on what you need.

Easy to Use Dashboard

When you launch DimSaver, you'll see a compact dashboard split into four tabs. The first thing you'll notice is how easy it is to set the brightness for day or night. You can even pick how fast the screen dims or brightens up!

Time Settings for Your Convenience

You can also decide when day turns into night in the app. This is especially useful if you're traveling across time zones a lot! After setting that up, you're ready to customize things just how you like them.

Customizing Your Experience

Head over to the Action tab next. Here, you can choose how to exit the screensaver. There are three options: Mouse Moves, Mouse Clicks, and Keys. You can check any combination of these options—use just one or all three at once!

Sensitive Mouse Detection

If you want more precision with DimSaver, you can select just the Mouse Moves option and adjust a detector sensitivity setting. This way, small vibrations won’t accidentally turn off your screensaver.

Add Some Fun with Images

The Image tab lets you add a picture before the screen dims down. Want to make it fun? Add a funny image! It’s totally up to you and adds a nice touch when your screensaver kicks in.
