Diligent is here to help you manage your time better! With a fixed amount of time each day and so many things to do, organizing your schedule can really make a difference. This software makes it super easy to group and sub-group your tasks right from your desktop.

Easy to Use on Any Device

One of the best parts about Diligent is that it runs on Java Runtime Environment. This means you can use it on pretty much any device that supports Java! Plus, there’s no need to install anything, which gives you extra flexibility. You can even run it straight from a USB flash drive without worrying about messing with the computer you're using.

Organized Visual Design

The layout of Diligent is designed for ease of use. When you open it up, you'll see several sections. One section lets you apply filters like assign, work, events, review, or recycle. Another panel shows all your tasks while the third section displays all the details and allows you to edit tasks.

Navigating Tasks Made Simple

You’ll find that navigating through your tasks is straightforward! The task navigation panel shows items in either a tree list or table view. However, you can only create new tasks in the tree list tab. Once you've selected a task, you'll want to focus on the details pane where you can specify things like task name, description, start date, deadline, completion status, and any prerequisites.

Break Down Your Tasks

One cool feature is that tasks can hold multiple items if you want to break one down into smaller steps. But be careful where you create a task because once it's set up, it can't be moved later! You can change each task's status to open, rejected, accepted, or closed. These statuses help organize everything by allowing you to filter through your tasks easily.

Your Daily Organizer

In summary, Diligent helps keep all your daily activities organized so you can stay on track with your plans and projects for success! Just keep in mind that while it’s helpful for managing tasks, it might take some time getting used to its setup. Unfortunately, there’s no built-in scheduler or alarm function for important events.
