What is Dial?

Dial

Dial is a super lightweight command line dialer that skips using the usual TAPI. This means you won't see the Windows dialer pop up while you're trying to make calls. Instead, it searches for a voice line and goes ahead and dials out on the first one it finds. It's pretty handy!

How Does Dial Work?

This software is designed to work seamlessly with an AVAYA IP400 phone system, but don't worry if you use something else. It should work just fine with most phone systems out there!

Getting Help with Dial

If you're not sure how to use it, just type dial /? in your command line. This will pull up all the help info you need to get started.

Why Use Dial?

Using Dial can really speed things up for you when making calls from your computer. You don't have to deal with any extra pop-ups or windows—just smooth dialing right from your command line.
