Desktop Presenter is a super handy app that lets you share live captures of your desktop. You can choose to show either specific areas or the whole screen with any computer on your local network. Pretty cool, right?

Quick Setup Process

The setup is quick and straightforward, so you won’t waste much time getting it ready. There’s no fancy interface; instead, you get a simple settings window where you can pick what you want to stream.

Choosing Your Source

This app automatically detects the highest resolution your computer can handle. From there, you can choose whether to stream in full screen or just a custom region that focuses on what you want to show off.

Standalone or Integration?

You can use Desktop Presenter on its own or launch it from within Wirecast. If you're using it with Wirecast, good news! It detects the app automatically. Just remember to check the settings and set it as your main source.

Configuration Options

If you're going solo with Desktop Presenter, you'll need to select your source and decide if you want 3D compatibility and audio capture included. No matter how you use it, make sure port 7272 is open on your firewall. Also, if Bonjour Services isn’t installed, you'll have to enter the TCP/IP address of the computer manually.
