Simple and User-Friendly Interface

The interface is pretty straightforward. You've got a small frame that you can drag around your screen using your mouse. When you click on it, a larger screen pops up with the chessboard ready for action.

Play Against the Computer

You can choose whether the computer plays as white or black, and there's even an option for computer vs. computer mode if you want to watch them go at it! To move a piece, just click on it (it lights up in red) and select where you want it to go.

Promote Your Pieces

Feeling fancy? You can promote pieces to become a Queen, Knight, Bishop, or Rook when they reach the other side of the board. Plus, there's a game log at the bottom so you can keep track of what's happening during play.

This cool little widget doesn't hog your computer's resources either; it uses very little CPU and RAM. It runs smoothly without causing any slowdowns or crashes—seriously! We didn't run into any issues during our tests.
