The Delphi Profiler is a handy tool for Delphi programmers. It helps you find out which parts of your program are slow and need some TLC to speed things up. So, when you want to make your program faster, just focus on those slower areas!
You also get a Frogbit script along with the Delphi source code. While it's not absolutely necessary to use Frogbit for profiling, having it makes everything run smoother and quicker.
If you're wondering, Frogbit is a small programming language designed for working with text files. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t come with the Delphi Profiler; you'll need to download it separately.
You can find the Delphi Profiler icons easily! Just look in your Start/Programs menu under “Delphi Profiler.” There’s even an icon that says 'Documentation (HTML).' Seriously, take a moment to read this before diving into using the profiler.
You’ll need a web browser like Netscape or Internet Explorer to check out the documentation. Don’t worry—you don’t have to be online unless you want to click on links about Frogbit topics outside of the Delphi Profiler.
Heads up! If your .EXE files weren’t built during installation, then the 'View Profile Report' icon won’t work until you've manually built those .EXE files. Make sure to consult the 'Documentation (HTML)' for more details on this.
