Delicious Library 2 is a cool OS X app that lets you scan barcodes using your webcam. How awesome is that? Imagine just holding your book or game in front of the camera and bam, it’s in your library!

Using Your Webcam

This app is super special because it’s the only one that works with built-in iSight cameras. These cameras are neat, but they can’t focus on their own. No worries though! Delicious Library 2 has got your back.

Image Magic

The magic happens with a fancy algorithm that does something called “image deconvolution.” Sounds complicated, right? But basically, it helps re-focus blurry pictures, kind of like what you see in movies or shows like CSI—except this is real life!

No Built-in Camera? No Problem!

If your Mac doesn’t have a built-in camera, don’t sweat it! You can use an Apple external iSight or any QuickTime-supported digital video camera. And if all else fails, you can always search for items by hand. Easy peasy!
