DecoderSnake
DecoderSnake is super easy to use! It’s a handy tool designed to program modern FX-decoders using older Central Units (CUs) like the 6021 and IB. This nifty software was first published by Mafi way back on April 28, 2007.
What Can DecoderSnake Do?
With DecoderSnake, you can program or modify digital model railway decoders from several well-known German manufacturers. The best part? You connect it through the serial port (either RS.422 or RS.232) using a USB-to-serial converter. That means you can easily hook it up and start working on your model trains!
Supported Digital Central Units
This software supports various digital central units, which include:
- Mrkl Interface 6050 or 6051
- IB-1 (the classic version with a serial port)
- CC-Schnitte v2.0 (make sure to use the D2XX driver if you're on MacOS-X!)
