Deadline Manager is a handy tool for keeping track of your tasks. Every project you start has to finish sometime, right? Some folks do better when they’re racing against the clock, while others like to plan ahead. Planning ahead can save you from those unexpected surprises! With apps like Deadline Manager, it’s way easier to map out your tasks and get reminders when deadlines are creeping up.

This app doesn’t come with pre-made templates or libraries, but don’t worry! The layout is super user-friendly, so you’ll feel at home in no time. Most of the screen shows the tasks you create, and you can edit everything on the fly!

Create Your Tasks

To see what Deadline Manager can really do for you, start by creating some tasks. You’ll find a task form where you can enter four types of details: inputs, reminders, files, and comments. The first part covers general info and has some must-fill fields, but the rest are optional.

Task Details

You can jot down a bunch of details like the task name, date due, group involved, who’s responsible for getting it done, support needed, priority level, status updates, and how much of it is done so far. To keep everything organized and on track, check out the reminder tab! However, keep in mind that the options are pretty basic—no custom messages or sound alerts to set up.

Exporting Your Work

Once your task list is all set up, you can minimize Deadline Manager to focus on getting things done. Just a heads up though—there's no option to have it run automatically with Windows. If you want to create reports based on your work progress, there are plenty of export options available! You can generate files in formats like XLS, HTML, DOC, TXT, RTF, CSV, DIF, and SYLK.

Your Visual Plan

In conclusion (or rather at least my take), regardless of how you work best—it’s smart to have some sort of visual plan along with reminders about deadlines. You can't always count on your brain to remember everything! In this respect Deadline Manager offers solid tools that anyone can use easily. It might be a little rough around the edges here and there but overall it gets the job done!
