This handy application was designed specifically to walk you through each step needed to get your camera ready to go. Even though the D-Link DCS-5300 network surveillance camera has been discontinued since 2011, it’s still super useful if you already have one or are buying it second-hand.

Scan Your Network

Once you launch the software, it will start scanning your network to find any connected cameras. You’ll see a list of devices pop up in the main window. This list shows things like the MAC address, IP address, assigned ports, and even the camera model!

Add Your Camera Manually

If your camera doesn’t show up automatically, no worries! You can easily add it manually by entering its IP address and port number. It’s simple as that!

Manage Your Settings

The main window also gives you options for setting up your camera, connecting to devices, and even upgrading firmware. If something goes wrong or if you're not happy with changes you've made, there’s always a 'Reset to default' option available.
