Description

Cyber Crypto

Cyber Crypto is a handy tool for anyone looking to keep their data safe. In today’s world, where we share so much online, it’s tough to feel secure about our information. This software helps you encrypt files on your hard drive and decrypt them whenever you need to. But there's a catch: you can only use it through the command console, and it doesn’t let you handle multiple files at the same time.

Understanding Cyber Crypto's Features

If you're used to modern software with fancy interfaces, Cyber Crypto might not be your cup of tea. It doesn’t have a graphical user interface (GUI) like many other programs. Instead, you'll be typing out commands in a console window to get things done.

How Encryption Works

To encrypt a file, you’ll need to type its full path into the console. This can be time-consuming if you've got lots of files to protect. And sadly, since Cyber Crypto can’t process multiple files at once, it might not be the most efficient tool for big tasks.

Password Protection

Your files are secured using an 8-character password. While this keeps things simple, there isn't much info available about how the encryption works beyond that. You can mix letters, numbers, or symbols in your password, but remember—it's always just 8 characters long!

Where Are Your Files?

The good news is that when you encrypt your files, they stay in their original folders! The program adds a suffix to their names so you can easily spot which ones are encrypted.

Is It Worth It?

Overall, Cyber Crypto is a reliable and portable command-line utility for keeping your data safe from prying eyes. However, it's not exactly user-friendly and offers very few options for customization. Plus, the documentation isn’t extensive either. So if you're looking for something more straightforward or feature-rich for handling multiple files at once, you might want to explore other options.
