Finding Your TiVo Devices

When you launch cTiVo, it scans your network to locate compatible TiVo devices. It works with various models like Roamio, Premiere, S3, S2, and HD. So no matter what TiVo you have, it’s likely supported!

Connecting to Remote TiVos

If you want to connect to a remote TiVo, the cTiVo Preferences window lets you do just that by entering the IP address. This feature is great for accessing your shows from anywhere!

Downloading Your Content

The main window of the app shows all available content for you to choose from. You can easily download videos directly to your desktop. cTiVo lets you pick the output folder and choose from various video formats like Apple TV, Decrypted TiVo show, DVD, H.264, iPhone or iPod compatible formats, QuickTime, MPEG, and more!

Monitoring Downloads

You can keep an eye on each download's status with cTiVo. If you've subscribed to any shows, it automatically transfers new episodes right to your device and can even sync them with your iPhone or iPad.

Commercial Skipping Made Easy

This app also has a handy feature that marks commercials so they’re easier to skip during playback. If you prefer not seeing them at all, cTiVo can remove them completely! Just keep in mind that it recreates the subtitle file if it removes any captions.
