Description

CSViewer

CSViewer is a super handy command-line tool that lets you open CSV files and see what's inside. Instead of just showing everything in the console, it gives you a nice graphical interface to work with. Plus, you can choose what character separates your data!

Easy-to-Use Syntax

The way you use CSViewer is pretty simple. The syntax goes like this: CSViewer.exe [\/c] [\/f] [\/s] [\/t] CSVFile [\/? | \/h]. All those switches are optional, so don't worry if they sound complicated! By default, it uses a comma (,) as the separator, but if you want to switch things up, you can use:

  • \/c for colon (:)

  • \/s for semicolon (;)

  • \/t for tabulator

Customizing Your View

You can also tell CSViewer if your first row contains column headers by using \/f. If you're ever confused about how to use it, just hit ? or \/h, and you'll see a help section with an example!

User-Friendly Interface

The cool thing about CSViewer is that once you hit Enter, your CSV file pops up in a neat graphical window. You’ll be able to see all the text arranged nicely in rows and columns. Oh, and check this out – the title bar even shows you how many rows and columns are there!

No Installation Needed!

No need to install anything! CSViewer is portable and comes as one executable file. You can easily save it on your computer or even a thumb drive to open CSV files anywhere without any setup hassle.

Performance Tested

This little app didn’t slow down our computer at all during tests. Even though it hasn’t had updates in a while, we ran it smoothly on Windows 10 without needing any compatibility fixes.

Your Go-To Tool for CSV Files

If you're looking for an easy way to view CSV files, CSViewer is perfect for everyone! Its simple commands mean you don’t need much experience with console tools.
