Crystal XP is a cool tool that lets you tweak how transparent your applications are. The interface is simple, featuring a small window where you can find all sorts of options on the left side.

Adjusting Transparency with Ease

In the Transparency section, you can turn on transparency for all your windows or even the taskbar! Just slide the bar to set how see-through you want active and inactive windows to be. It's super easy!

Add Exceptions Like a Pro

If there’s a program you want to keep from going transparent, no problem! You can add it as an exception using the file browser. Just a heads up though, dragging and dropping isn’t supported here. You can also import and export lists of exceptions if you're feeling organized.

Manage Your Applications

The Applications area shows you all the programs that are currently running along with their details like handle, process ID, and name. You can even use the context menu to refresh the list or restore, minimize, maximize, or close any application. Plus, it's easy to add apps to your exception list automatically!

Generic Settings at Your Fingertips

The Generic section gives you insights into CPU usage and lets you adjust how often things update. Want to disable that pesky tray icon? You got it! You can also change transparency for just the active window or choose your preferred language. There are keyboard shortcuts too! And if you'd like Crystal XP to run every time Windows starts up, that's doable as well.

This program doesn't hog system resources at all—our tests showed no issues whatsoever! Even though there's no help file included, beginners will find it quite user-friendly.
