CPU-Dial Gadget is a small gadget that displays the current CPU and RAM usage of your computer, directly on your desktop. It can be easily installed and configured, even by first-time users.
The interface of the application is based on a small frame which resembles a gauge; the current CPU and RAM levels are displayed on two dials, with a red and green needle, respectively.
Unfortunately, CPU-Dial Gadget does not come with any configurable settings of its own. But, thanks to the operating system, you can open the right-click menu, in order to customize some default settings.
Subsequently, you can move the tool's frame to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor, make it stay on top of other windows, increase its size, as well as adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%.
The lightweight gadget puts little strain on the computer's resources, as it runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. It is very responsive to commands and did not cause the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs during our evaluation; we have not come across any issues. Unfortunately, the app has not updated for a long time.
