CPU ClockSpeed Plus is a handy tool for your desktop that shows you how your CPU is doing right now, along with memory usage. As the name suggests, it's perfect for anyone who loves to use their computer to the max, especially hardcore gamers who need to keep an eye on everything happening under the hood.
The installation process is super quick and automatic! Once it's all set up, you'll see a clean interface that's really simple to use. It comes in a small frame you can move around anywhere on your screen by just dragging it with your mouse.
The frame has a dark green background with white text that clearly shows the percentage level for each core of your CPU (it supports up to four cores). It also tells you how much memory is being used and what frequency it's running at.
You can tweak things from the Options panel. CPU ClockSpeed Plus lets you change the look with 16 different skins! You can also adjust how often it refreshes or even have it show frequency in GHz. Pretty neat, right?
If you want this frame to always be visible, there's an option for that too! Thanks to some default settings provided by your operating system, you can make sure it stays on top of other windows and even change its opacity from 20% to 100%. Talk about flexibility!
No worries about slowing down your computer either! CPU ClockSpeed Plus uses very little CPU and RAM, so it won't get in the way while you're working or gaming. However, we did notice its response time could be a bit slow during our tests. Other than that, everything worked smoothly. Just keep in mind that this tool hasn't seen any updates in quite a while.
