CPU ClockSpeed

CPU ClockSpeed is a handy little widget that shows your computer's CPU clockspeed right on the sidebar. It's super easy to install and set up, even if you're not a tech whiz.

Easy to Use Interface

The tool has a tiny frame that you can drag anywhere on your desktop with your mouse. It’s just that simple!

Customization Options

While CPU ClockSpeed doesn’t come packed with tons of features, it does let you customize a few things from the Settings screen. You can choose from 16 different skins for how it looks. Plus, there’s a drop-down menu where you can pick how fast you want it to refresh.

Display Options

You also have the option to show the clockspeed in GHz instead of MHz. This is pretty cool if you want to keep an eye on performance!

Frame Adjustments

The default settings let you tweak the frame's opacity between 20% and 100%. You can even make it stay above other windows so it's always visible.

Lightweight Performance

This little tool won’t slow down your computer because it uses very little CPU and memory. During our tests, we didn’t see any error messages pop up and everything worked smoothly without crashing. However, one thing to note is that its response time could be better when you're typing or clicking around.

No Recent Updates

An important point is that CPU ClockSpeed hasn’t seen updates in quite some time, which might be something to think about if you're looking for fresh features.
