This app is portable! That means you don’t even have to install it. You can save CoolReader on a USB drive or any removable device and just plug it into any computer to use it. Plus, when you're done using it, there won't be any leftover files cluttering up the Windows registry or hard drive.

The program has a clean design that makes it really easy to navigate. You can import documents using the file browser since the 'drag and drop' feature isn’t available. This way, you won’t get lost trying to open your favorite books.

You won’t lose your place because you can set bookmarks! Plus, accessing the table of contents is super straightforward—go directly to the first or last page or jump between chapters with ease. You can also check out recent books you've opened or export your current book into WOL format.

If you're someone who likes things just right, head over to the 'Settings' area where you can tweak various options for windows (like startup actions), pages (margins and footnotes), styles (text color and background), and even the stylesheet (alignment settings).

Performance Overview

This simple app runs smoothly on low system resources while still being fast and stable. During our testing of CoolReader, we didn’t run into any issues like freezing or crashing—everything worked perfectly! Just one small downside: there’s no help file available if you get stuck. But don’t worry; even beginners will find their way around its features!
