Control Kids

Control Kids is a handy app that used to be called Free Parental Control. It's designed for parents who want to keep their kids safe from adult content on the Internet. You know how easy it is for kids to stumble upon things they shouldn't? This tool helps with that!

Easy Setup and Startup

When you install Control Kids, you can set it up to start automatically whenever your computer boots up. Pretty neat, right? The first time you launch the app, you'll need to create a master password. This password is super important because it lets you turn the app on and off.

Remember Your Password!

Make sure to keep that password safe! Unfortunately, there's no option to change it later, so if you forget, you're in trouble. While the app is running, you'll see its icon hanging out in your system tray. Just click on it with the right mouse button if you need to disable or uninstall it—just remember you'll need that admin password again!

No Custom Filters

One thing to note is that Control Kids doesn’t let you customize settings much. You can't pick and choose which websites are allowed or blocked. Instead, this app does its job by finding and removing explicit adult material like cookies, cache files, and URLs.

User-Friendly Experience

If you ever decide to uninstall Control Kids, guess what? You'll need your administrator password again! But don’t worry; this program doesn’t hog your computer’s resources at all.
