The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are intended to help developers meet the needs of all users who might access a certain web page, and they can be applied to desktop or mobile apps as well.

There are three levels of conformance (A, AA, and AAA), and it is recommended to comply with at least the second one (AA), as AAA conformance is not always possible.

Contraste is very simple to use. After launching it, you will see a small window on your desktop, with two color pickers intended for text and backgrounds. All you need to do is select these colors from your app or website, and the conformance level will be determined.

If you want to try out new colors, you can customize them until you find one that conforms to the criteria; then, just click the hex color code to copy it to the clipboard and use it in your project.
