However, we did hit a snag when trying to get ContentBarrier to work on Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). It didn’t block content properly or keep a record of visited websites as expected. So if you're on El Capitan, just keep this in mind!

The NetBarrier part helps you watch over network communications and stop various apps from connecting without permission. The setup is super simple; even if you're not tech-savvy, you'll manage just fine!

Protecting Your Mac with VirusBarrier

If you're worried about viruses, VirusBarrier is here to help! It has real-time scanning and lets you schedule scans whenever you want. Just note that the scanning options are pretty limited—you mainly choose which folders to check during those scheduled scans.

A Solid Package Overall

All in all, ContentBarrier Secure offers a solid collection of tools to help protect both online and offline activities for you and your kids. Just remember: if you're using OS X El Capitan, some parts might not work perfectly.
