That’s where Consultant’s Canary comes in! This handy tool is a Python-based script designed to sniff out all that annoying extra software lurking on your system. Think of it as a detective for your computer.
No Deleting or Disabling Here
The cool thing about Consultant’s Canary is that it doesn’t actually delete or disable anything. This is super important because OS X has all these different hardware drivers, which can sometimes give false alarms. So instead of removing stuff and potentially messing things up, it simply shows you a list of any suspicious-looking programs running on your machine.
