ConnectMeNow is a super handy application that makes it easier to connect to different servers. It uses protocols that your operating system already supports, which is pretty cool!

Streamlined Server Connections

With ConnectMeNow, you don’t have to worry about doing the same thing over and over again. When you open the app, you'll notice a new icon pop up in your status bar. Just click on it to get into the app’s preferences window.

Easy Configuration

Inside the preferences, it's a breeze to set up your server connections. You can use any of these supported protocols: SMB, AFP, CIFS, FTP, SSH, WebDAV, or NFS. Just type in the server name or IP address along with the right credentials. ConnectMeNow will add it to your status bar menu so you can connect with just one click!

Custom Names for Easy Access

You even have the option to give custom names to your servers. This makes it way easier to recognize which one is which!

What It Doesn’t Do

Keep in mind that ConnectMeNow only helps with connecting; if you want to interact with what's on the server, you'll need to go through Finder. It would be nice if the app could open a Finder window automatically when you're connected.

Customization Options

The app does come with some great customization features! You can set it up so that it opens when you start your computer. It can quietly mount volumes and even check if a network is available before trying to connect.

Troubleshooting Made Easy

If something goes wrong during connection attempts, ConnectMeNow can send error messages or wait before trying again. Plus, if you quit the app or shut down your computer, it’ll un-mount any connected servers for you.

Wake-on-Lan Feature

You can also send Wake-on-Lan signals before mounting by entering the MAC address and connection port!
