Color Blind Test is a handy little tool that helps you check if you're color blind. It’s super easy to install and set up right on your desktop!
The app has a tiny frame that you can move around anywhere on your screen with your mouse. Now, while it gets the job done, it's not exactly a design masterpiece.
This frame includes some text that links you to an online site where you can take 32 simple color blind tests. All you need to do is tick the correct answers!
After you finish all the tests, you'll see results showing how likely it is that you have color vision issues like red, green, or blue deficiencies (like tritanopia and tritanomaly). Plus, you'll get some other useful info.
You can also tweak how visible the frame is by changing its opacity from 20% to 100%. And if you want it to stay above other windows, that's an option too!
During our testing, we didn’t run into any hiccups. The Color Blind Test didn’t freeze or crash at all. It responds quickly and uses very little CPU and memory, so it won’t slow down your computer.
This app is super straightforward, making it easy even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. If you're curious about your color vision and want to give it a shot, check out this link here!
