Color Blind Test is a handy little tool you can use to check if you're color blind. It’s super easy to set up on your desktop, so no tech wizardry required!
The app has a tiny frame that you can move around your screen with your mouse. It’s designed to be functional rather than flashy, but it gets the job done.
This frame has some text in it that takes you to a website when you click on it. Once there, you'll find 32 simple color blind tests. Just tick the right answers, and you'll be all set!
After finishing all the tests, the app shows how likely it is that you have color vision issues, like red or green deficiency (tritanopia and deuteranomaly). You’ll also get some helpful info about what those terms mean.
You can tweak how see-through the frame is—from 20% to 100% opacity—thanks to your system settings. Plus, you can keep it on top of other windows for easy access.
During our testing, we didn’t hit any snags. The Color Blind Test ran smoothly without freezing or crashing. It has a quick response time and barely uses any CPU or memory, meaning it won’t slow down your computer at all! Even if you're not super tech-savvy, you'll find this app really easy to use.
